Mr. Walter Lewis

Mr. Walter Lewis currently holds a position with Exeter Government Services as a Cyber Analyst and Foreign Release Manager. Exeter Gov. Svc is a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) that supports Federal civilian, Department of Defense, and commercial clients by delivering quality service on time.
Some of their service offerings include but are not limited to Information Assurance/IT Security services and Infrastructure and O&M support. Mr. Lewis works out U.S. Southern Command located in Miami, Fl.
Mr. Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management (BSIT) from Barry University (BU) in Miami, FL and a Master of in Information Technology Management Science Degree from Trident International University. He is a dual major with a focus on Information Assurance and Forensics.
He has been involved with the local AFCEA South Florida Chapter since 2002 and currently is the President of the South Florida Chapter. Previous positions held; Secretary and 1st Vice President.
Mr. Jeremy Spund, MBA, M.S.
Mr. Jeremy Spund currently works for ICF as a Technical Specialist in Miami, Florida. Currently, he is directly supporting the Defense Critical Infrastructure contract through developing and supporting technological capabilities. ICF clients span health, energy, transportation and government agencies in the United States and Europe.
Mr. Spund holds two masters degrees, a Masters in Industrial and Systems Engineering (M.S. in ISE) and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), both awarded from the University of Florida (UF). Additionally he holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (B.S. in IT) with a minor in Mathematical Sciences, awarded from Florida International University (FIU). Mr. Spund also holds industry certifications, such as Security+, Microsoft Certified Professional, Six Sigma/LEAN, and ITIL Foundations v3.
He currently serves as the Vice President of Internal Operations and Membership on the Young AFCEA advisory council. as well as 2nd Vice President of his local AFCEA chapter. He has won numerous awards including but not limited distinguished young AFCEAn. He also was recently selected to be published in AFCEA’s Signal Magazine for his submission on Blockchain as a disruptive by design technology.
Mr. Spund also takes pride in his community; he has proudly served for over 6 years with his Church in support of the Chapman Partnership, including cooking and preparing meals every 3rd Friday of the month for 450-600 people. He was also instrumental in coordinating computer systems, supplies, and the development in vocational training for all adults who stay at the Chapman Center. The goal is to provide opportunities to residence in achieving the computer based skills for future employment.
Mr. Kenroy McFarlane
Information Technology Specialist
Kenroy McFarlane is an Information Technology Specialist for the DISA SOUTHCOM Field Office, located in Doral, Florida. He is responsible for ensuring information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.managing. He provides advice and guidance in implementing IT security policies and procedures in the development and operation of network systems. He Establishes and maintains a comprehensive quality assurance program for diverse platforms that covers file backup and recovery, equipment maintenance, and quality control of systems processing and outputs. He ensures that the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of all IT services. Mr. McFarlane provides Cyber Defense system engineering and technical direction and advises on all Cyber Security and Network Operations (NETOPs) planning, policy, implementation, and technical initiatives for the Defense Information Systems Agency Network (DISANet).
Prior to this role, Mr. McFarlane served as NCOIC Logistics Planner in the United States Air Force. TSgt McFarlane is still currently a drilling Air Force Reserve member assigned to the 482nd Logistics Readiness Squadron in Homestead, Florida. He is responsible for the deployment, employment, and logistics command and control processes. TSgt McFarlane prepares compiles, coordinates, publishes, distributes, maintains, and implements deployment guidance. He also analyzes and recommends requirements for forward movement of forces to support theater commanders, and integrates redeployment planning actions with functional area representatives.
Mr. McFarlane has numerous military awards including the Joint Service Achievement Medal.
He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology from Barry University. He currently attends Nova Southeastern University to obtain his Master’s of Science in Information Technology.
